About Rochelle

Rochelle Fox is an artist and creative soul who loves to travel the world and take some time to smell the roses. Her whimsical, yet meditative style is rich with vibrant colors and intricately drawn details that express her spiritual connection to nature.

Rochelle's highly detailed, layered compositions are meant to evoke the interconnectedness of all of life, the balance of the light and dark, and the energy that runs through us all. Rochelle is inspired by the beauty of mother earth, sacred geometry, goddess mythology, dream analysis, and eastern philosophies of balance and harmony. One of her favorite symbols to work with is the mandala, a symbol that represents the universe and the "dreamer's search for completeness and self-unity." Throughout her work there is an underlying, universal message of hope, peace, and love. Her creative process is naturally intuitive, allowing the colors and compositions to unfold and form in organic ways. Above all, Rochelle seeks to create images of serenity that add some beauty to the world. She is continually experimenting with new techniques, but her preferred mediums are pen and ink, watercolors, acrylic, printmaking, and collage.

When she’s not getting into her latest creative project, you can find her checking out bookshops (the kind with crystals, oracle cards, and shiny objects), discovering & eating the best desserts in NYC, going on nature walks with her hubbie in Central Park, reading her daily horoscope (Pisces, of course!), finding her moment of zen on the yoga mat, teaching creative workshops, and planning her next trip to somewhere magical around the globe!

"If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere." ~ Van Gogh
